Pretend-trade sandbox

Build a deal, then check the books

Add a player by name to lock a club, then browse that roster — or send that club's real remaining draft picks. No custom or phantom selections. Capster projects dead cap, incoming salary, and a labeled toy fairness score from the public Jimmy Johnson chart. No cash, no real front office.

Toy heuristic. The fairness score is a toy heuristic — not a front office model. It blends remaining APY, remaining cap hits, years left, leftover guaranteed salary, a position weight (starter-volume quarterbacks count more; low-snap / low-APY backup QBs and specialists less), and draft-pick points from the public Jimmy Johnson chart (scaled so 2–3 early firsts can be in the conversation for a star; future classes are discounted). Sandbox picks are that club's real remaining inventory — you cannot invent extra firsts. If a picks-only package cannot approach the player, the line says picks aren't enough. A score of 100 is perfectly even; the line names which club wins (receiving more toy value), not who is asking.
